Dear Red Hot and Heat Wave Supporters,

The Hurricane Show Choir program consists of two show choirs with more than 111 student participants from Hurricane, West Virginia. The Hurricane Show Choirs are directed by Mr. JosephKincaid, assisted by Cynthia Coulson and Evelyn Bush, as well as three choreographers.

RED HOT, the mixed show choir, has won the West Virginia State Show Choir Festival 18-times since formed in1992, and is the current reigning championship.

EAT WAVE, the all-female show choir formed in 2016, has won their division 7-times at the West Virginia State Show Choir Festival.

THERMO D, our show band, is one of the best in the country.

Managing two high quality programs year after year is incredibly expensive. The cost of music, costumes, and sets are just a portion of the overall funding needs. In order for our groups to continueto improve and compete at a national level, we must travel to do so. Travel expenses for more than 111 students comes with a large price tag and costs continue to rise each year. We are asking for you to consider sponsoring our groups for the upcoming competition season to assist with these expenses.

Our students work extremely hard to master their shows and to highlight the Hurricane community, Putnam County and the State of West Virginia in a positive way, and with your assistance they can continue to do so.
